Scanner Settings

Pattern Selection​

  • Pattern Types: Choose which harmonic patterns to scan for:
    • Gartley
    • Bat
    • Butterfly
    • Crab
    • Cypher
    • Shark
    • 5-0 Each pattern can be set to "Off", "Long", "Short", or "Long & Short".

Detection Settings​

  • Harmonics Size: Set the size of swings used for detecting patterns (1-300). Larger values lead to bigger patterns.
  • Tolerance: Set the tolerance level (0-100) for Fibonacci ratio measurements. Higher values make pattern detection more generous.
  • Use Log Scale: Enable/disable logarithmic scale for computations.

Trade Management​

  • Min. Risk-Reward Ratio: Set the minimum risk-reward ratio for trade entries. Trades with ratios below this threshold won't trigger alerts.
  • Breakout Condition: Choose the method for confirming breakouts:
    • Close below/above last 2 lows/highs
    • Close below/above last 3 lows/highs
    • Swing Flip
    • MACD Crossing
    • RSI Crossing
    • Torian Bars Signals
    • Torian Bars Signals + Trend

Technical Indicators Settings​

MACD Settings​

  • Fast Length: Set the fast length for MACD calculation
  • Slow Length: Set the slow length for MACD calculation
  • Smoothing Length: Set the signal line length for MACD

RSI Settings​

  • RSI Length: Set the period for RSI calculation
  • RSI MA Length: Set the moving average length for RSI

Target Settings​

Each pattern type (Gartley, Bat, Butterfly, Crab, Cypher, Shark, 5-0) has individual target settings:

  • Target Calculation Base: Choose the reference points for target calculation
  • TP1 Percentage: First target level (as percentage)
  • TP2 Percentage: Second target level (as percentage)

Alert Settings​

  • Pattern Active: Enable/disable alerts for when patterns become active
  • Breakout Up/Down: Choose between confirmed and unconfirmed breakout alerts
    • Confirmed: Alert when breakout is confirmed after bar close
    • Unconfirmed: Alert as soon as breakout occurs

Visualization​

  • Location: Choose where the scanner table is displayed (Top Right, Middle Right, Bottom Right, Top Center, Middle Center, Bottom Center, Top Left, Middle Left, Bottom Left)
  • Text Size: Adjust the size of text (Huge, Large, Normal, Small, Tiny)
  • Display Exchange Names: Choose how to display exchange names (Off, Alerts, Table, Table + Alerts)

Symbol Settings​

  • Up to 20 symbols can be monitored simultaneously
  • Each symbol can be individually enabled/disabled
  • Default symbols include major cryptocurrency pairs, futures contracts, forex pairs, and stocks

Tips for Effective Use​

  • Tolerance Setting: Start with default tolerance and adjust based on your needs. Higher tolerance means more patterns but less precision.
  • Harmonics Size: Adjust based on your timeframe. Higher values work better for longer timeframes.
  • Breakout Confirmation: Choose the breakout condition that best suits your trading style and timeframe.
  • Multiple Timeframes: Apply the scanner across different timeframes for better context.

Troubleshooting​

  • Scanner Not Loading: Try refreshing the chart or re-adding the indicator.
  • Pattern Detection Issues: Check if harmonics size and tolerance settings are appropriate for your timeframe.
  • Performance: Reduce the number of active symbols if experiencing slowdown.
  • Alert Problems: Verify that alerts are enabled in both indicator and TradingView settings.
